HTC ChaCha Specifications Review

HTC ChaCha, technical specifications, review, news HTC ChaCha smartphone is trim and weighs a moderate 124 gms with a white protection that has a slight metallic deck on the back. For retro loving people, HTC brought the Chin back in ChaCha that was also on HT the G1.

For people who like typing, the ChaCha has an enjoyable QWERTY keyboard with rubberized keys. Don’t worry if you have big thumbs. The keyboard is fairly spacious with large buttons as ChaCha is a messaging phone. The smartest factor about the HTC ChaCha is that it has a dedicated Facebook button at the lower side which is very easy to contact.

At the top, the HTC mobile phone has the standard 3. 5mm audio output and lock key, and the bottom has a tiny hole for microphone, though the left side contains the volume rocker and micro USB port for syncing and charging.

The 2.6-inch 256K color capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480×320 pixels contains the half of the forward side. The display has a pixel density of 222 pixels in every inch and protected by Gorilla Glass safety. At the bottom part of the screen there are four touch-sensitive keys which are regular on HTC Android products. The SIM card and storage port are both below the battery cover.

The HTC ChaCha smartphone is driven by an 800 MHz ARM processor chip and has 512 MB ROM and 512 MB RAM which will make the mobile very playful. It is available with 2 GB inner memory which can be extended up to 32 GB by attaching external micro SD card. For connection it has Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v3. 0+A2DP and it works with 3G.

The smartphone runs on Android 2. 3. 3 Gingerbread OS and boasts HTC Sense 2. 1 UI, designed by the home company. As it is driven by Android, you don’t need to be anxious about applications. But the 2. 6-inch landscaper display generates trouble while operating several applications. One plus point of the display is that websites appears good on it as the proportion is 16: 8. The web browser of ChaCha supports flash but it is confined to enjoy animated banners basically.

The ChaCha has an unimpressive 5 Mega Pixel autofocus video camera with LED flash and has face recognition capacity. Video taking is confined to 720×480 pixels at a rate of 30 fps but the audio pickup is great. It contains a front-facing VGA camera for self-portrait and additional tasks. Photo taken by this camera is not highly amazing but good enough to upload on Facebook.

Although most other mobile phones are experiencing hard time with their battery power because of their power starving large displays, HTC ChaCha, with a 2. 6-inch display enjoys significant benefits over other mobile phones in terms of battery life. It provides standby time up to 660 hours and talk time of up to 7 hours.

The HTC ChaCha has a mundane display but with outstanding QWERTY key pad and dedicated Facebook button it seems an fascinating mobile phone. If you’re used to a large display Android mobile, then it might be tough for you to get used to its smaller display. But mobile phone lovers who are searching for something much better and more comfortable should certainly go for the HTC ChaCha.
